Mood Swings

Mood swings can occur for many different reasons and may differ from person to person. A mood swing is when you are completely content or happy with the way things are going and something changes your mood very quickly. If you are constantly struggling with mood swings, they are ways to control them and to feel better. Mood swings often form from negative thinking or expecting things to go a certain way. Before assuming the worst, take a second to relax and think of all of the possible outcomes besides the worst you can imagine. Thinking of things in black and white can cause problems with mood swings because there are many gray areas in life.

  1. I deal with mood swings from my father. One moment he will be really nice and happy go lucky. Then the next he is rude and hateful and negative about everything. Can this be caused by a chemical imbalance in someones brain? Is it hereditary? I really this that your blog is informational.
